Opened in 2008, Lucas Oil Stadium (LOS) was built with big things in mind. A
state-of-the-art, seven level, 67,000-seat, multi-purpose stadium with a
retractable roof, designed as the home field for the Indianapolis Colts, LOS
offers stunning views of the Indianapolis skyline. The site of Super Bowl XLVI
in 2012 and the 2011-2015 Big Ten Football Championship Games, Lucas Oil Stadium
was also the venue for the 2010 NCAA Men’s Final Four and will host that event
again in 2015.
From big games to big business, Lucas Oil Stadium can be adapted to virtually
any exhibitor need. The stadium floor is 92,000 square feet and can be combined
with 33,000 square feet of retractable seating space, 44,000 square feet of
exhibit hall space, 4,000 square feet of swing space, and 10,000 square feet in
the North Endzone to provide 183,000 contiguous square feet of exhibit space.
Twelve meeting rooms total 13,000 square feet and can be combined into sets of
two or three, and exhibit halls are divisible into two areas of 26,000 and
18,000 square feet each. An underground dock area features 30,000 square feet
with eleven (11) underground docks, utility boxes on 30 foot centers on the
exhibit hall floors, 26 foot high exhibit hall ceilings, and vehicle access to
both field and exhibit halls, Lucas Oil Stadium was built for convenience. And
it’s only a 15 minute drive from the Indianapolis International Airport.
Plus, there’s more right next door. Lucas Oil Stadium is connected by a
pedestrian walkway to the Indiana Convention Center and over 4,700+ hotel rooms,
putting you just steps from the heart of downtown Indianapolis where you’ll find
over 7,100 total hotel rooms, more than 200 restaurants and clubs, live music
and shows, and a four-story shopping and entertainment complex.
